- That change was made because the old method wasn't sustainable. There's a limit for four top-level menus in the navbar, which was already filled. We used two of those to list shows, but each can only contain seven items, which we'd already exhausted, so it would be impossible to include any more shows. Also, the next show scheduled to debut (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy) will be set in the 32nd century, which didn't have a dropdown menu, so there would be nowhere to put it.
- Completion isn't really that important in this case, so instead our goal is to make the navbar easy to use and provide links to the pages most readers are looking for, which happen to be the newer shows and characters. 🖖 Mr. Starfleet Command (talk • contribs) 15:25, 8 September 2025 (UTC)

News feed[]
The Everybody Loves Raymond fandom site has an automatic news feed (see the right side of the front page [1]). Is this something we could implement instead of/in addition to the current news section? LauraCC (talk) 03:41, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, a news feed like that wouldn't provide any links pointing our readers to MA articles. In fact, it would spotlight links pointing our readers away from MA. That's the opposite of what a good home page should do. So, I say we should keep things the way they are. 🖖 Mr. Starfleet Command (talk • contribs) 07:25, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
